My current research activities focus on unsolved gas dynamic problems and fundamental fluid dynamics. These are all devoted to high speed and microscale flow predictions in engineering systems that are far from equilibrium and do not obey conventional Navier-Stokes-Fourier. Recently, I have developed a different hydrodynamic model to cope with some of these problematic gas dynamic flows which can be found in reentry heat transfer and hypersonic/supersonic flows, and in low pressure heat transfer predictions.

I have a Masters of Science in Mathematics from University of Lomé in Togo following which I went to the University of Paris 6 in France for a Masters of Advanced Studies in Mechanics specialising in Fluid Dynamics. My PhD concerned with Gas-Surface interactions devoted to satellite trajectory controls and reentry heat transfer problems within the department of mechanical engineering at the University of Provence in Marseille in France. I have Joined the multiscaleflows research group in January 2006 as a Research Fellow to work on the project entitled, Beyond Navier-Stokes: Meeting the Challenge of Non-Equilibrium Gas Dynamics, that was proposed by Prof Jason M Reese and Prof Colin M McInnes.
